S A German Chamber of Commerce & Industry

To whom  it may concern Johannesburg 20.08.2010 Reference Letter for N Viljoen Consulting CC The Trade Fairs department at the S A - German Chamber is Southern Africa's gateway to successful participation in trade fairs, not only in Germany but internationally, including Southern African countries. Rapidly expanding markets such as Asia, South America, UAE and Southern Africa are not only exhibiting at German trade fairs, but have become successful host countries for some of the largest trade fairs world-wide, which originated in Germany. Whilst most manufacturers and vendors manage to enter overseas markets, only a few can truly succeed.  In fact, it is particularly hard for SMMEs to do so as, on one hand, their businesses are often too small in scale to take part in world-class exhibitions, and, on the other, most trading agents do not provide SMEs with enough services and support which enable them to access and become successful in the world wide market. The Chamber provides infomation and support through workshops in collaboration with Nikki Viljoen, so participants are better prepared and more productive at the more than 100 German, and over 80 international trade fairs which are organised by German Trade fair organisers that the Chamber represents worldwide. Nikki Viljoen's workshops have become a vibrant and important part of the South African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and our activities within the Southern African market.  The "A Basic Practical guide to starting a business" has been very well received by our clients and the addition of the other workshops, "How to write a business plan", "Financial Literacy for non-financial entrepreneurs" and of course the very informative "How to fill out a tender document" have been excellent stepping stones for all of our clients, not only SMMEs, who are establishing and expanding their businesses. We enjoy working with Nikki Viljoen and look forward to our continued, mutually beneficial co-operation.  Please feel free to contact me for any questions you might have. Kind Regards   Annette Pringle-Kolsch Head of Trade Fairs and IT Department
